Small Ox to Save the Day

Small Ox in action.

Home-made CNC cut with lathe adaptation. I have been just using my CNC X, Y and Z for most of my metal cuts but was recently asked by a friend to carve/ route patterns on 4 sides of his custom-made cue.

I then acquired a lathe and set it up on my home-made CNC (which I lovely named small Ox) on the 4th axis to automatically do a 1/4 (90 degrees) turns every time it finishes up on the front side pattern. This video shows the turning of the cue on the lathe. Part 1 of this video shows only the turn with no Mach3 setup. Part 2 (below) shows the finished result of the cut.

No intervention required!!! Small Ox saved the day!

Slight Incident: Accidentally super-glued a "C" onto my finger. It is NOT a tab of glue but a blob!
